The holidays are approaching, and maybe you're looking for some creative gift ideas or, as always, a way to spice up your dorm decor. Today we've got a great deal on a cool product from Photofiddle. Basically, you give them a high-resolution photo, and they create a unique piece of art on canvas in an artistic style of your choosing. There are a variety of styles available, but the "Impasto" style is shown here:

We're waiting for ours to arrive in the mail, at which point we can tell you how it looks, but until then Ira at Photofiddle has been generous enough to offer DormDelicious readers 15% off their custom art. Just enter the code dorm15 at checkout.
Ira gave us this info about the company...
The Photofiddle.com site went online in June 2004 and not too long after the launch we received a bit of press from the Washington Post, USA Today, PC Magazine & more. The Washington Post called us "buzz worthy", USA Today reviewed our photo on canvas and picked us as the best, and PC Mag rated us 4 out of 5 stars. What really put Photofiddle.com on the map was when Oprah put us on the O list in 2006. More recently, the Today Show picked Photofiddle.com as a great DIY decorating idea, the CBS Early Show featured us as a best Mother's Day gift idea, and the New York Times editor wrote a great article including Photofiddle.com. Photofiddle.com was recently voted by the viewers of the CNBC show "The Next Big Idea" as a million dollar idea.
It sounds like Photofiddle has been generating a lot of buzz, and now you can try it out and get some cool custom artwork as a gift for the holidays or for your own dorm room. Stay tuned for an update and review when we receive ours! And thanks to Ira and Photofiddle for their generous offer.
