My roommate and I found that the plain white cinderblock walls at our school ended up feeling alot like a prison cell, so we ordered full wall murals online to bring in more color during the long winter months along with covering up the monotony of the walls... plus they get a lot of really cool reactions from people passing by in the halls.
How did you put it up.. and is it easily removable?
i actually used little squares of velcro on the back, the mural itself comes in 8 pieces, so just a few squares on each of the panels should suffice. At the end of the year it's usually not too bad to get the velcro off the wall, and i've never had a problem with the mural falling down. :)
that is really ingenius. i looked up some wall mural sites and they some of they them go for $300
That is REALLY cool! What site did you buy the mural from?
I actually used http://www.berlinwallpaper.com/ for that mural.. they usually range about $70 or so. There are a lot of other good websites too if you just google wall murals.
