Oasis away from the 'rents

Hello I'm Lisa-Marie from St Lawrence College in Ontario.

This was my first dorm from 2008-2009. I started off with a roommate and I hated it. We had a kitchen and bathroom between our room spaces, but still it wasn't all I had hoped it would be. You're roommate is either your best friend from the start or you'll end up clashing at some point. If this happens just talk to you RA about switching rooms or having a roommate transfer. It's not complicated, and it's better to deal with everything right away.

I went through two roommates before I decided I was better suited for a single room. Nothing horrible happened, we just had different social friends and sleeping schedules.

So this was my little humble home for the first semester. It was my first time living out on my own without my parents even in the same province as I was. It was my own space to do whatever I wanted to do. I loved it!
